I just wanted to say this forum has been a great place to post since SeaSpectre became a moderator. In these few weeks, I’ve seen the following positive changes:
1. Former SEALS/TEAM guys are able to post with encouragement from others and without being attacked.
2. There have been more posts from BTDTs who are from other branches of the military.
3. More posts from a navy recruiter, a doctor, and a physician assistant.
4. More former members came back and post.
In the beginning, there are those who questioned his authority. This is to be expected when there is new authority. Here is what I have to say to them:
SeaSpectre and other members are here to help you. The more BTDTs there are to answer your questions, the more you will learn and benefit from this website. Most of us, paying members, are behind Sea 100% for that reason. What do you prefer, a website that actually answer your questions from those with experience or one full of opinions from other wannabes? It would be nice if we can stop the whining please.
In conclusion, here is a big Thank You to SeaSpectre for taking on this thankless, somewhat irritating job!
HOOYAH!

Jen ~ I couldn't have said this better myself! HOOYAH JEN!
SeaSpectre ~ You've done an excellent job straightening out these forums and their threads! Keep it up it's been long overdue. A huge HOOYAH to you as well!
**SIDE NOTE** To those posters who may not agree with SeaSpectre's method of moderating these forums and threads, all I can say is....you may not like it, you may not agree with it but the bottom line is this is how it is and this is how it will more than likely stay so...SUCK IT UP AND DEAL WITH IT!!

Im going to weigh in heavily on this one as well and agree with all of the above. SeaSpectre has our full weight of support.
Guys, this is a great forum and there is a wealth of experience and advice that you can draw on here from a variety of professionals. You may not like everything you read. So what!!! Learn to take constructive criticism from the professionals (and especially the operators) that are here trying to help you.
This is not school or kindergarden. You are not here to be pampered and treated with kid gloves. You are here to get advice on to train and learn more about becoming a professional warrior. SS has done a great job to really straighten this forum out.
For those that still dont get it; do not whine, do not *****, do not moan or back answer. Learn from each other and those that are trying to help you. As Shar says above ... SUCK IT UP!!!
Oh ... and have a great day!

Thanks Courtenay,
I have stopped in from time to time.
Had a hard time finding my foot locker and compartment.
The new paint is great (glad I wasn't part of that detail)
The com shack is all spiffy. Aye she's a tight ship indeed.
And the crew? What a task force.
Its good to see you and the elder mates (meaning long time not old :-)) leading the way.
Mark did a good job (along with who all helped him)
Its good to see your smiling face as always.
I'll be stop'n by.
More time on me hands now that the VA retired me.
(loose rein not out to pasture)
I'm have'n to change the dictionary all over again.
Now I've got 2 posts not 3000 or what ever. thats good.
I feel like a youngster.
Yepper I'm still some what of a political yelper but with the world in the shape it's in more people should be.
I'll stop there.
Take care.

I'll be damned! Its the Fisher! Good to see you shipmate.
Guys---thanks. This really means a lot to me, I was beginning to get a bit discouraged from the complaints filed against me. However I shall stay the course.
Spectre out
Unfortunately, I missed alot of the brouhaha... But I wanted to add my support here. The Addition of a Moderator, especially of this caliber has been a welcome change. I know I've been here for a year and haven't been very vocal but I've observed much.
Hooyah Spectre!

Jen....great post!! I love the fact that the slinging of bs isn't happening with damn near every comment now! It's a "peaceful easy feelin" isn't it!! :)
Fisher.....a name I remember! Holy Cow!!! Welcome back! I hope to see more of the old regulars!
I agree, great post Jen!
What might normally be a thankless job is very much appreciated by those of us who knew it when. It's fun to log in again!
Thanks, Sea!
