Lt. Michael P. Murphy will be receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor on October 22, 2007. It's about damn time. Hoo-yah Murph! A man whom we should all aspire to be like.

Great to hear. Those who haven't yet should pick up a copy of Lone Survivor and read it.

Hey I read Lone Survivor and Murphy is most definitely a hero. I read a few articles about the ceremonies that will happen next week. Does anyone know if the ceremony at the Navy Memorial is open to the public? I go to school in DC and I want to go and pay my respects for Lt. Murphys sacrifice.

I just finished reading Lone Survivor. This book was well written and I found myself at times getting lost and actually seeing everything in my head! Lt. Murphy was and still is a hero, and always will be! I found the book to be motivating in everything I do every day. Words can't really explain how reading about those four guys has changed the way I think about things that pop up everyday! Thanks for writing the book Marcus, you are welcome at my house anytime if you are ever in the Dayton, Ohio area!
