Lt. Michael Mcgreevy Memorial Fund( SEAL KIA 06/28/05)

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share with you guys a Memorial Fund that has been done for LT. Mike Mcgreevy. Mike was killed in action on June 28, 2005 in Afghanistan while he and seven other SEALS were attempting to rescue the four fellow teammates under enemy fire on the ground.

We always tend to hear more about the four men in the ground on June 28th, 2005... but we also lost on that tragic day 8 incredible SEALs in the helo trying to save our guys.

His widow and dear friend of mine, Laura Mcgreevy, has set up this Memorial fund in memory of her husband. Here is the website link...to learn more about her memorial fund and about Mike. It is a really touching website full of pictures and a short Bio of Mike.

It hurts to see our young SEALs leave behind such young families. God, what a tragedy.

I will be going and helping her out....most of the widows of that day are in Virginia Beach..so we have become almost like sisters...and been helping each other out from day one....
