I'm taking a brief hiatus this week. Been training 5-6 days/wk since the beginning of July so it's probably about time:) I'll probably be back for the Friday beatdown, gotta love those!

Sorry guys i spent a few days last week focusing on Gymnastics and Oly lifting and developed a lingering inflamation in my bicept distal attachment. The athletic director at my college claimed its from the "blasitic" movement involved with Snatches and Muscleups so i took the last three days off. I dont think im up for "Jason" yet, most likely wenesday ill attempt it. Today I did a workout Coined "The Big 60" by my workout partner that consists of a little bit of everything that i have missed lately. It goes as follows:
Start a watch with a 60 min cap, then perform 3 rounds of;
Run a mile
10 HSPU
20 strict pullups
30 box jumps @ 24"
40 OHS @ 45#
50 Sit ups (abmat & soles of feet together)
Then for the remainder of the hour Row.
I was able to row 2145m in a little over 8 minutes

My prayers go out to Jason and his Family.

damn, 4 pull-ups and 4 dips = 1 muscle up. i really wish there were some rings at the gym so i could do the job right.

Last set of muscle ups (dips and pull ups) kicked my butt - had to use pull up machine to get through it.

We carry the Elite Rings that are recommended for CrossFit workouts. Get two caribiners, and you can hook them up to the pull up rig in about two seconds. Hopefully nobody will bother you about it.
