any tips for what I should use to do box jumps. Believe it or not the athletic facilities at UW don't have any ****ing boxes to jump on. I've been using a flat bench but I doubt it's 20 inches high so I was wondering if anyone had a better idea.

Try stacking 45 lb plates onto a platform and then jumping onto it, or putting a box on two stacks, you get the idea. One, it's really stable, and two, everyone looks at you like you're psycho!

If the gym has aerobic steps, you can add enough risers to get to the height.

*Only 25 reps @ 120lbs on the deadlifts, I think I'm doing 'em wrong cause it was really killing my lower back. Stopped early, didn't think it was worth injuring myself to finish this one legit.

**Those flutter-kicks are a real time-killer, thought I was gonna crush this up until those. (let alone getting a!ss raped by those final pulls...)

Thrusters were the best part of it.

I had to use the pull-up machine with weights to get the 25 pullups.

It was my first ever CrossFit workout. thought I was gonna die...but I loved it, it was awesome. I have been doing the buds warning order work out..it has nothing on the CriossFit workout. This is by far the toughest workout I have ever had...look forward to more of them and lowering my times.

The box jumps and db thrusters really took it outta me on this one.

About 23 mins..
I was doing amazing (about 12 mins elapsed) until I got to the thrusters...could only do 6-8 reps at a time. And the last 25 pull-ups took me WAY too long cause I was really tired, plus my kipping needs work.
