View Full Version : Friday 8/24 "Beat Down" WOD
Like to play cards? This is no World Series of Poker where a bunch of pale smokers in sun glasses and stupid looking hats sit around a table and pretend to be athletes.
Post your time. No fudging.
Hoo-Yah Friday!!

Nice!!! So... numbered cards we take at face value, but what do we count royals as? Royals 10, Aces 15?

I used Aces as 1, up to Kings as 13. I've this type of workout before, but somehow racing the clock made it a total kick in the junk. Great workout today.

Aces are high. When I do the workout that means 11. Face cards (royals) are all 10. So that when you go through the deck you have done 95 of every exercise. If you want to make the face cards ascending from 11-13 and aces 15, go for it. The more the better, right?

What a love-hate relationship. I think this is one of the ultimate mind-f*** workouts. (I've made the kids I coach do similar workouts.) I had the horrible time of 1h, 7min.
I'll add that I was sweating so much that my Ipod Shuffle shorted out 3/4 of the way through the deck.
Keep 'em coming!
