Some of the NavySEALs.com WODs call for swimming (imagine that). I know that not everyone has access to a pool though. If that's the case, sub the pull ups and push ups. Unfortunately though, swimming is the only way to get good at swimming, so do what it takes to get in the water.

If you were wondering why there were no ab exercises yesterday, now you know.

Muscle failure and quitting due to mental weakness are to different things, don't let your mind tell you otherwise. Stay strong and leave it all on the battlefield!!

Hoo-Yah!!

Great ab workout today...I just started these workout on monday...and I love them

Swim - 12 minutes (I was not sure if you were suppose to do underwater recovery or overhead recovery, and I didn't think about that until after the swim which i just did freestyle. Plus I know it says sit up, did push ups just because I misread it this morning. It was early...haha)

Pushups, Four count flutter kick, and Leg Levers - 8 minutes 30 seconds

3 mile run - 18:30

Felt great after accomplishing this. Abs definitly felt it during, but never stopped.

Swim = 18:55 (what I thought was my strength has quickly become my weakness - let this be a lesson, if you neglect your swimming you will suffer. Use it or lose it!)

Ab Set = 28:05 (9:10 for the ab set, 28:05 is total clock time)

3 Mile Hill Run = 49:24 (21:19 for the run. Outdoors, 1/2 up hill, 1/2 downhill, and wearing shoes. Will switch to boots soon.)

Total WOD time = 49:24. . . OUCH! Thought I would do better.

Awesome Workout
Subbed Pull-ups and Push-ups for the swim, took me 32 minutes to complete the calis, unable to run due to time constraints

For anyone who cares, I've found that when I am starting to gas out on pull-ups, (today it was on 72) going over to the pull-up assist machine can get you through the workout. I am a shade under 200 lbs, so I put it on 50 lbs of assist, and it's just enough of a spot to keep going, without totally sandbagging. Also I didn't have a partner today, who also could have spotted me. Thanks.

Total time from start to finish with everything in between: 61 mins 36 secs.
24 y/o 175 lbs. I enjoyed this one. The swim was finished just over 19 min. The abs were a real suprise though. I thought I was a little stronger in that area, but I had to break them up into sets of 25. They burned a little. The run slacked a little...still nursing an ankle injury, but pushed through at just over 23 min.
