alright this is for Toady and anyone else who did todays workout. I did 10 complete rounds in 25 minutes and was half way through the pushups on the 11th set when the time was up. I really wish the UW would have some gymnastics equipment because I was unable to do ring pushups/dips. Maybe I'll have to buy some from the website and mount them on the ceiling in my apartment. And I did start getting a taste of that burger I had from Applebees.

I did just my second Crossfit workout today (the first was a few weeks ago), and can tell you that both were equally hard. Anybody who thinks they are in good shape should jump on Crossfit. YOU WILL BE HUMBLED. Go to crossfit.com and check out the video of "Brandon's Bad Day" and you will see what I mean. In the 25 minutes of today's workout, I was drenched in sweat, and yes, tasted my lunch a little too. I'm not sure how many rounds I did, didn't really count. I was too tired. I'm addicted in just two workouts.

Love the CrossFit WODs! I was wondering what the advise is on using CrossFit as a tool to prep for BUD/S. In other words, how much running, swimming, and general PT is recommended to accompany the WOD's? I've received a copy of the new workout program being passed out by the Dive Motivators and have been trying to follow it... incorporating the WOD's.

Also, will there be any WOD's that will incorporate swimming?

I'd love to put swimming in the WODs. Unfortunately, most people don't have any way of getting into the water, so I've been making dry WODs. If you guys want a swim alternative, let me know and I'll start putting that in there too.

To best answer the question about incoporating the WOD into what your Dive Motivator has given you, I'd need to get an ideas of what that workout schedule is.

Torpedo, you can e-mail me separately on that issue at crossfit@ustactical.com.

There is no doubt as to whether CrossFit is an effective program for pre-BUD/S training. The fact that it is being used in BUD/S is evidence of it's effectiveness.

Keep up the good work guys.

Hoo-Yah!!
