I'm new to diving and bought a pair of rocket fins as they were cheap. It says "fits all sizes" on the fins and I was also told that they are supposed to be worn with boots, however I have found that no boots fit with these fins. This seems really strange to me. If the military issues these fins, if they are one size fits all, and if they are supposed to be worn with boots then why do they not fit with boots??????? I wear size 10 shoes, and was fitted with a size 8 boot, so it's not like I have large feet. So, a couple specific questions: Do seals wear rocket fins that are "fits all sizes" or does aqualung make other rocket fins that are in different sizes that are issued to the military? Do seals wear boots with rocket fins? And if so, what boots do they use?

Google "dive booties". Those are what you're looking for, not regular boots.

First off it is SEAL. Secondly, by the time you start operating you may find other gear you like better. If you are inserting from the sea you may need boots that fit with FINS so you can walk across nasty terrain on an "op" with out screwing up a pair of "booties". So, YES, fins and boots can and do get used together some times. Back in the olden days the boots issued were jungle boots, the fins were "duck feet" or "Jet Fins" in whatever size you needed for wear with boots or booties. As you operate you will find out what works for you. Look into "force fins" for use with your boots. If you are wearing booties take them with you to a good dive shop and find out what feels comfortable with them. There is a new fin out called a "SHIN FINS" you might want to look at them if you are NEW to diving as they cause less stress on your ankles.

i wear a size 10 in sneakers and 8.5 in boots.
I have super rocket fins and size 9 deep sea dive boots and i have no problems getting my feet in them. but it sucks im still trying to get used to them. im still trying to adjust my stroke for the fins.

You will either wear boots or booties. I feel sorry for your feet.
