"In the unlikely event", when you get to the Tread in second phase, you will have to use certain fins determined by foot size. Size 8.5 or smaller and size 12 or larger wear Rockets, everything in between wears duck feet. I would highly recommend taking this into consideration.

Standard issue in BUD/S is duck feet, they're meant more for surface swimming rather than diving. Rocket Fins are pretty good for diving, I have them and I know pretty much everyone else does too.

Make sure you get the right size though, if you have a foot bigger than size 11 then you need the Rocket Fin II. Both are sold in the SEAL store.
