I'm currently taking GNC Pro Performance Mega Creatine. Since I started taking it, when I get hungry, I've started getting shaky and weak feeling. I haven't changed my diet any. This ever happened to you? I'm about to stop taking it because of this and because I haven't noticed that it has helped in the last month and a half. Just reaffirms my belief that most supplements are a waste of cash.

i'm by no means an expert on the subject, but i'm pretty sure there's a certain amount of glucose that certain types of creatine have in them, or should be taken with them to get what studies show as "proper" effects from creatine. You might want to do some research on what you're taking and how much of it you're taking, like i said i'm no expert at all but if the creatine you're taking has glucose added into as a lot do nowadays, maybe just ask your doctor if everything is ok, just to be safe.

Cool. I'll look at it. Like I said, I'm about to stop taking it anyway. I felt better in the gym without it.

Are you drinking plenty of water (you will probably need more w/ the supplement)? Of course you know muscles are like 78% water, so ...

Yeah, water shouldn't be a problem. I usually try to drink between 140 and 160 oz. per day.

i've done a little research on this and what i came up with seems pretty simple and you exhibit the same symptoms 've seen over and over through the research; YOU NEED MORE CARBS. the creatine is upping your glucose levels but you don't have the carb intake to tell your body to up it's conversion, so you're left with a lot of sugar, and nowhere for it to go. so try eating a higher carb diet when exercising, this benefits you in 2 ways, 1, it will solve your shakiness problem, and 2, it'll keep your body from burning muscle tissue as a source of fuel. Here's a link you can read over: http://www.carbs-information.com/carbohydrates-benefits.htm

I'm not much of a carb counter so that could be it. Like I said, I'm about to stop taking it anyway. I haven't increased my gains enough in the last two months to justify it. I appreciate the help.
