Hi Dan! I am not a SEAL but I have known several back in the 80's when I was living in San Diego and theres not a finer place to matter in our U.S. military than in the SEALs. If you are really raring to be a SEAL the two things I can tell you Ive heard help IMMENSLY in passing BUD/s is being ABLE to do P.T.(physical training-Most especially military style push-ups(at least 40) and pull-ups(at least 10) sit-ups(100) and you have to run 4 miles in under ...uh(realize Ive forgotten the number...) uh a time limit I THINK its 30 minutes..in military boots!! Thats Number 1 Number two in to be able to endure PAIN and MISERY without quitting. And nothing separates the would haves from the can-do's like lots of swim and soak time in near freezing water. If you can stand the pain of being cold-youre a shoo in(if a medical or PT failure doesnt disqualify you or roll you back!!) Hope this helps!!!And good luck :>
