What do you guys think of the SASR?

Okay, i'm Australian, and it's my dream to join the special forces. I've always been fascinated by the SEALs, SBS, COMSUBIN, etc... all of the marine-oriented special forces. I know I won't be going to the US anytime soon, so I can't be a SEAL. So i've been reading about the Australian SASR, and about their water troop, but I haven't been able to get much infomation.

What do you guys think of the SASR's water operations, and how do you think they measure up to the SEALs? Are they worth joining? I know that SASR soldiers sometimes get posted to the SEALS, and the SASR does cross-training with them, especially counter-terror with DEVGRU. What's your opinion?

There is a very poor chance that you will become apart of the SASR. Unless you have some kind of amazing backround about your self.
