Everytime I do situps, I get the worst strain in my neck and I can't do more than 30. Does anyone have any suggestions to dealing with this problem? I've tried putting my hands behind my neck when I do them but I still have problems. any suggestions would be appreciated.

i learned something in high school. Look directly up at the ceiling focusing on the same point the entire length of the exersise. Maybe you just need to do some neck exercises.

thanks, also would it be better to have my hands behind my head when I'm doing them or should I have my hands crossed over my chest?
