I am currently about half way through Stew Smiths 12 Week Program and 4 days ago I fractured my rib while boxing. I don’t know how many people have fractured a rib but it is a pain in the *** but it isn’t like breaking an arm etc. I can still function fine and everything but it bothers me a lot. Deep breaths, running, pushups/situps, sneezing, coughing etc all irritate it.
Anyways, I have read on the internet that it can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to heel. I was wondering if anyone knew if I ran or swim or rode the bike, if it would still heel in the same time. I just don’t want this to turn into a cronic injury. I want it to heel ASAP but I also don’t want to fall out of shape. Thanks for your help
