Hello,
One-third of all adult Americans--about 50 million people--complain about their sleep. Some sleep too little, some fitfully, and some too much. Although one-third of our lives is spent asleep, most of us don't know much about sleep, not even our own. We don't even know exactly why we sleep, other than--like an overnight battery recharge--sleep promotes daytime alertness. Sleep problems profoundly disturb both sleeping and waking life.
Some useful resource to help you out from all kinds of sleep disorders

Note from the moderator: These 3 websites, while providing a great deal of good information, are ALL commercial websites, and as such, may not be reliably neutral in treatment options offered. For example, the sleepdisordersguide.com site explains the nature of sleep disorders very well. But the treatment options offered for at least one condition are misleading at best, and downright wrong at worst. For sleep apnea, the site states: "Obstructive sleep apnea can be treated successfully by surgery." This is not a true statement. It is _sometimes_ a true statement, but the successful treatment by surgical means is no better than 50%, and not only is the surgery incredibly painful, and slow to recover from, but if it doesn't work, the patient is often left without the ability to use a CPAP, and thus has NO method of treating his sleep apnea. So, be forewarned about accepting the treatment options offered by any of these sites -- they may be pointing you to an option that pays money to the website owners.
