What are the deadlines for AD member packages and Class start dates?

Packages are always accepted. There is no deadline for application. You just need to talk to your CCC and make sure that you cross your T's and dot you I's. Take a look here http://www.swcc.navy.mil/swcc/pdf/plainlanguage.pdf for the most straightforward check off list. There are 2 classes a year, and I promise you that applying in a certain time of the year won't guarantee a summer slot. That is all dependent on how many people they have in cue for the school.

So to sum up, apply now and you will class up when they want you to class up. (Besides, going through SWCC in the winter makes you tougher!)

I hope that helps out... also check out http://www.swcc.navy.mil for more information on the application process and the school itself.

Thanks for the info. I've been to the CCC and they didn't know when the next class will class up. I just want to get my package through as soon as possible so I can class up. I've been trying to get the OK from my chain of command for the past year and a half and now I have it. I'm not trying to time it with the seasons I'm just anxious.

Honestly I do not know the class schedule since they switched to the 20 week schedule. I would bet that one class starts up in the middle of August and one in the middle of March. That is just an educated guess though.
I bet you are psyched! Get out there and get your PT on. Swim swim and swim some more. The swim is the number one thing that people get dropped for. Be prepared to swim alot. I would say next is get your run on, and third is get your push ups up there. If you can do 80-100 pushups straight without resting you should be right on par with where you need to be. If not, work to get there. Remember, the PT test minimums were just that.... minimums. You will want to be performing well above those standards... after all, the first one in gets the most rest.
