I'm seriously thinking about starting the Navy SEALs workout that is posted on this site (http://www.navyseals.com/community/navyseals/navysealworkout_main.cfm . I was wondering what would be a healthy diet for a 14 yearl old male ( 140 lbs., 6 foot) while completing the workout. I have looked around at some BUD/S diets, but I am guessing these are aimed towards older adults. If anybody has any suggestions or websites that would be of value to me, please reply. I was also wondering if you think my doctor could help me put together a healthy diet for this workout. Thanks for the help.

its probably too late but to anybody who reads this; here's what i try to do every day:

morning:

-egg beaters with ham and cheese.
-glass of water.
-whey protein shake.
-piece of fruit.

lunch:

-sub sandwich(turkey, cheese, lettuce).
-powerade.

(eh...its the best i can do at school).

when i get home:

-tuna sandwich on whole grain bread.
-glass of water.

*WORKOUT*

dinner:

-chicken breast OR salmon with veggies.
-salad(the pre-made ones in the bags=perfect)
-glass of water.

dessert:

whey protein shake. :D

hope this helped anyone out. i am 16 and this 'diet' works great.

peace.

Why bother w/ egg beaters if you are going to eat the ham and cheese? Have you looked into the recommended about of tuna to prevent heavy metal poisoning?
