Has anybody tried GAKIC? It's a pretty new supplement from Muscletech. A guy at my gym swears by it, but said it tastes like sh**.

If it's not natural, I wouldn't take it.

Just to emphasize how bad this is for your body I will quote part of the directions from the bottle: "DIRECTIONS: Due to the potent nature of this product, which works immediately, GAKIC should only be used on days that you work out and at no other time."

GAKIC is just a fatigue resistance acid (Specifically: glycine-l-arginine-alpha-ketoisocaproic acid). It's basically a hyped up Creatine but it doesn't put on water weight. Although, it is not like creatine in which it is not a stimulant.

It's also expensive as hell.

ive done some reading about it. it looks pretty good in my opinion. ive been wanting a supplement lately and that looks like what ive been waiting for b/c it would help increase my endurance with running and calisthenics. i dont need a supplement but it sounds benefitial.

I think it's for fatigue endurance with weight lifting. I don't think it would help aerobic exercises.

I didnt mean cardio. Im no expert but breaking down muscles is breaking downmuscles.

well im not gon go in a lot of detail about muscle breakdown however the basic dif. between anarobic an aerobic are the tpe one and type two muscle fiber
type 1
-slow twitch
-endurance proned
-uses ATP at slower rate
-burns oxygen

Type 2
-fast twitch
-fatigues quickly
-engaged only when around 25 percent of maximum out level is being lifted
-burns ATP quickly.....this is where creatine and GAKIC come in they, lend a phosphate molecule to ATP which is being broken down
this will not make you stronger but will help you when your burnt on those last few reps of your last set
