I have been doing some research and my ccc has been looking into it as well but we have not found a solid yes or no. So heres my question. I took my Sept E-6 exam and shortly there after passed my SWCC pst. My 1306 is in the chop chain and I expect to have my package submitted next week. If I advance to a frocked E-6 after my package is in am I still eligible for training? I have 10 months left on board my current command so I imagine I will be a paid first by the time I make it to training. Thanks for any help or advice.

It won't affect your advancement at all because technically you're still getting paid as an E-5.

Unless you begin getting paid for E-6 before your package goes through.... You then may have to resubmit your package to reflect the change in paygrade.

When I went through SWCC training in '95, we had a guy on our team tack on E-5 during training... He was able to complete training and nothing was changed.

But just to CYA, I would call the BUDS Quarterdeck at Coronado to verify.

Congrats on making E-6 by the way.

That uhhh... pretty much covers it. Congratulations by the way. Is it hazing to tack on a crow over the internet?

I guess it would depend on the person receiving the "E-Tacking".....

Lemme go get my old roll of Quarters I used to use when "tacking on the crow".....

Don't forget to wrap the arm around a pipe.

LOL!!

Forgot about that part.... But, I don't know K.... You think he's "man" enough to get his crow tacked on at all?

I believe there's a little "test" he has to go through first to receive is "tacking"

LOL......
