Me and a buddy of mine are talking about signing the Special Forces contract together. So i have two questions.

For one, is there some time of buddy program with that contract?

And to the important stuff. My buddy's like 5'10" 220lbs. He's solid though. He benches 450 and is about as wide as a truck. I'm like 6'5" 240. I'm leaner than him and dont have the upper body strength but I can run for like a week straight.

What I'm getting to is that alot of guys including our recruiter said we're too big and bulky. For a couple of months i laid off the weights and just did pushups, pull ups, sit ups, and ran. But my weight didn't change and we both need lots of food and sleep just to function.

Will our sizes hurt us if we make it to the Q?

Dont count on too much sleep and food in the Q, there will be plenty of food just no time to eat it. It helps to be a little leaner and you will lose size because in basic, unless your lucky, you wont get a platoon with a weight set.

Damn! 5'10 220. He's huge!, how does he do on 5 mile runs and other cardio? I remember a guy talking about how to loose muscle on the BUD/s prep board. Something like do alot of cardio, lay off the protein(if your taking whey, etc.) just try searching for it.

So why does it say you're 17 and 5'11" X 195 in your profile?

Dude,

I just checked out your profile and it was last updated 19 months ago--- Granted, but how did you grow an extra 6 inches and pack on 50lbs in 1.5 years---and be lean---at 17?

We could make millions, dude.

This is my cousins profile. He's the one that got me so amped about the militairy. I wanted him to join up with us for the Army but he's got a bid to the Naval Academy next year so he' goin there. That kid is solid though. He can run jump and muscle up with the best of them.

My buddy's got pretty good endurance but he's also got a knee problem I forgot to mention. He tore his ACL 2 years ago. It's better now. He runs and lifts with it mooderately but he's worried if it'll hold under alot of stress.
