Ok, I was doing sit ups at the bus stop and all of the suddenly i got egged. i pretened like it was a gunshot wound and totally ignored it. I wasnt pissed off or anything, i had the ability to pretend it did not even happen, i am ready for training.

Barr,

That was me throwing that egg. You have made all of us very proud. I wanted to make sure you were ready and now I know.

You may now advance to Kill Bill Vol. III

not only are you ready for the gunshot wounds you will suffer in BUD/S, but you are also one step ahead of most future tadpoles like myself. You have the knowledge and wisdom to ignore gunshot wounds.

Good luck, I'll see you in Coronado!

Squall, I'm going down to Coronado next, next week. I'll probly hang out on the beach and chill for awhile. Then head along strand highway towards the o-course. How are the waves? Surfable? Did you check out orange avenue at night? There are bars where the team guys hang out. They are territorial but won't mind some kids like us.

I'll probably be goin down soon too. The waves are pretty nice depending on the swell. Don't know about down there but up here in Laguna we just got hit by one and were getting 7+ foot waves. Never seen much shorebreak there, and the couple times I did surf it was awesome. It's a really nice beach, with a lot of places to eat at around. I also walked into McP's while I was down there (during the day, only a few families eating) and they had a sign up warning people to stay away from the SEALs. I got a kick out of that.

Squall,

You can go in "Danny's" or "Mc P's" during the day. They both have a menu. Danny's has great burgers, but if it's nice out, you may want to go to McP's where you can sit outside. I prefer Danny's though.
It's funny you mentioned "The Plank". I love that place! Good times!
Maybe we'll see you soon!

just make sure you dodge the snipers with the menus

hello,
this relates to the topic at hand, IMO, this will swing this topic back into shape. it's a good read. always take everything with a grain of salt. I am posting this link just because it's easier and quicker.

http://thesealquest.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x/a/frm/f/148101503 the guy that runs the site is a former SEAL.

just don't want someone researching to get in and see something about burgers..hahahaha

OMG, Danny's burgers are so good. I used to ask my son to bring me one of those when he came to visit me at work. Dammit, I knew there was a reason I missed him while he is away! Ha ha ha!

I'm going to have to try one of these next time I'm there.

hello,
all of them are under the "MentalTraining" section. It's not very labelled. yeah I read that other summarization posted by jason12 stating something similar to that. the link is mostly for the newer people that come on here for the first time who dont' know.

here's the main area where you will see all the sections: http://thesealquest.infopop.cc/eve/ubb.x

I've always thought it's interesting/sadistic/funny how Coronado is full of little boutique shops, charming restaurants, beautiful hotels, pristine beaches and the toughest military training in the free world.
