I know a guy who distributes one of those waters. A former (recently retired) SEAL. He really believes in it.

Normal water and a multivitamin are cheaper anyway.

depends on what part of the country you live in. The water that comes out of your tap in some cities can be mighty dirty. Getting a water filter is a good investment in alot of cases. That's cheaper than bottled water. The vitamin water is a good way to get your vitamins because in liquid form, your body absorbs them better. When you take vitamins in pill form, it's like the old saying, you're just making expensive pee...

Yes, by "normal" I meant filtered or bottled water. I don't advocate drinking tap water this close to Mexico.

Mexican beer has been my breakfast of choice for years. Please don't suggest Bud Light as an alternative--unless you are talking about it's similarity to bottled water. C'mon dude, get miles from ordinary.

Vitamin water is for guys who need a penis pump---bottled water, a good diet, and maybe a vitamin will work, and you won't be "that guy" I try to clip with my car door on the way to happy hour.
I don't want to sound overly skeptical, but I have seen some of the marketing techniques for this stuff, and it is suspect.

Corona and lime. YUM. Cerveza Sol will do too.

Bottled water and a multivitamin is a cheaper way to go. But, you don't think there is any truth to the idea that your body absorbs the nutrients in water better than a vitamin in the pill form?

I know this question was directed at someone else, but I'll take a stab at it.

Almost every medication on the market is in pill form. Beyond the shipping and manufacturing concerns, there must be a reason for this. It would make since to see medications come this way if there really was a significant difference. In terms of concentration, I think the only way to beat a pill is IV, but that is impractical. The benefits of water over pill is not worth the extra cost--IMHO.

I will do more research on this tonight and post the opinions of those more qualified.

I honestly believe this has more to do with selling fancy water than any other reason though.

my thoughts exactly. i was just curious because i had one of those Vitamin Waters yesterday for the first time and i was just curious. you can never truly trust anything that comes on the market to better improve your health besides vitamins and such. my water at my house actually is very good. we had this water tester guy who went door to door to sell his product and when he came to our house to tell us what was wrong with our water, he couldnt find anything wroing with it. it was pretty funny. but anyway i think im gonna stick to basic water

I don't know enough about the process to say one way or the other, but it sounds like it would make sense.

I would just feel way too gay walking around with a bottle of VitaWater or something. When I go to Starbucks I order straight coffee, when I drink water, it's water. Same concept.

If I was to put anything in my water it would be Tobasco sauce, just to up the manliness.

if you're looking for something to drink that's packs alot of vitamins and minerals, you can't beat a juice extractor. you're getting your nutrients the best way you can; the natural way. pills supplements are ok, but your body can only absorb so much at one time, the rest goes out in your pee pee.
about mexican water, here goes: this homo goes to the doctor because he thinks he might have AIDS. Homo takes all the tests, Doc tells him to come back in a week for results. Week later gay guy is sitting in Doc's waiting room to hear results. Doc comes out and says to homo:"sorry, your tests are positive. you got AIDS". Homo gets frantic and says,"Doc, is there anything I can do? just name it I'll do it." Doc says,'well there is one thing you can do." gay guy thinking "just name it. I'll do it.' So the doc says "ya go down to mexico, eat ALL the food you can feed into your face and be sure to wash it down with LOTS of the local water.' Homo says, kinda confused, "well what's that gonna do for my AIDS?" Doctor says "nothin'. But it'll teach ya what an a@@hole is for' . heee hee...

as far as the vitamin water...who needs the extra expense..Buy a good quality multi-vitamin and chase it with a glass of water...Life doesn't have to be so complicated..LOL People will buy anything..thats why they sell that crap!

I drink EmerGenC, it kicks ***. This stuff is legit. I don't care what anybody says about it, I like the stuff. I don't get all my fruits and greens in everyday either, so I think it helps. It tastes good too. BTW I don't need a penis pump.

Burner,

Thanks for the heads up dude. I am always looking at new and exciting ways of reaching my goals--hAHA

I spent a couple of months in Costa Rica a couple of years ago, and they have this beer called Imperial Cerveza. I don't know if it was the atmosphere or what, but it was the best Mexican style beer I have ever had. I have never been able to find it here in the States. (lightbulb) I don't think they have a distributorship here---Maybe a joint venture dude?

I have read many of your posts, Spin, and you seem to be determined to become a SEAL. But dude, you are a minor, as am I. I take a sip every now and then :)... but I don't advertise it on the internet(especially on THIS site!). If I were you I would keep it on the DL. Just a piece of advice.
