this is a wonderful workout for the abs, it works them really good and your 6 pack will show really good after 4-6 weeks after doin these...

do like a regular sit up but keep your feet elevated like on a couch or something, i do my pt workouts at the bus stop because there is has good pull up bar and a bench where i do these types of sit ups. Keep yours hands over your ears and make sure your head touches the ground every rep. do these going straight up and with twists with your right elbow hitting you left knee and the other way around. dont be suprised if your walking down the street and somebody mistkes you with hulk hoagan with that great looking body, dont be suprised when random people you dont know lay down a red carpet for you to walk on.

thats all that is working out...your obliques. you could do the same workout by laying on your side and crunching to the other side. a good workout for your abs though is crunches. doing them with your knees at a 90 degree angle in mid air is a good one. or hanging from a pull-up bar and curling your legs up to your chest. or try doing an inclined sit-up with a 25lb weight on your chest and doing those. those are always fun

The bottom line ab workout - flutter kicks. If you're serious about getting some abs, those are the deal, I've read from articles and books that they can do over 1,000 a day (just like push-ups) in BUD/S.
