View Full Version : Flat feet and BUDs?

I recently went to a shoe store for some running shoes and was told that I have a low arch, or flat feet. This is why I have foot pain when I take long runs; however, a molded sole has fixed this and I no longer experience the problem with pain. My question is, in BUDs will they allow to use a special sole in your boots as I require? I did a search and found a thread that said that if you had flat feet you would not be allowed in the navy and this disturbed me greatly. Can any one confirm this as well as answer if I am able to change soles for training?
Thanks,

Where there's a will, there's a waiver.

Did you do nay thing to easy your suffering while running or did not just ingore the pain? I can just get to a Mile then my feet fell like there going to fall off...it's literally the feeling of my bottem of my feet pounding in the soles of my shooes...Ican hike for ever and I'm not at all out of breath...it's just my feet are not agreeing with me.
(those soles I was talkijg about...well time to take them back cause found out they really do not fit all that well)
