Since I know how much I hate reading long-winded posts I’ll try to keep this short…
1. Can overtraining be prevented at bud/s? Stories I’ve heard don’t seem to support this.
2. Boot camp should be a breeze at my final fitness goal. How can I retain the hard-won adaptations like buffering capacity and aerobic/anaerobic endurance throughout basic?
3. Will I have an opportunity to train on my own (or with other potential seals) at A-school? And what is a-school pt like?
4. Is there any way to coincide periodization training with basic, a-school and bud/s? Should I try to peak several weeks into bud/s or just before or just…. not worry about it?
5. Should I just focus on building a training base, ie do long easy runs for general/injury prevention adaptations, or concentrate more on threshold, repetition etc training before basic (same thing for a-school)
6. Are orthodics allowed at bud/s? I’m slightly flatfooted and nearly ruptured the tendons in my feet running barefoot on sand.
Sorry if any of this is a repetitious, I'm new here
Thanks
