I am a very talented sprinter, but of course BUD's is mostly long distance. My question is; Will being a fast sprinter benefit me in any obstacle or drill while attending BUD's training?

Yes, anything physical will help you at some point in training.
We had one guy that was a great sprinter in my class...... he beat everybody to the bell.
