Two questions

If someone could help me out with these it would be really helpful thanks.

First.
The guaranteed spot for swcc under the challenge program, the recruiter I have been talking to told me that it really isn't something that he does anything for, I just sign up and if they pick me for it then I am guaranteed a spot. I thought that he actually has to write something on the contract, or something like that. The way he is making it sound is that I can't get it. Is he right?

Second.
Does anyone know, I found a site about being a SWCC that said that Master at Arms was a rating that would work with being a SWCC, but the recruiter told me there were only a couple that work and MA is not one of them, and that they are not excepting MA people at the moment there are to many. That is really what I am looking for as I am about to graduate college with criminal justice. I don't know.

It's hard because I find something on the navy site and then the recruiter tells me different. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Let's see if we can't shed some light for you.

First, your recruiter is full of spit.....

You CAN get into SWCC under contract, and yes your recruiter writes it in. It's just like the SEAL contract.

YES, MAA IS A SOURCE RATING IN SWCC.... I don't know where your recruiter is getting his / her info, but my guess is he's figuring that you're pretty gullible and naive so he's hoping that you're going to believe everything he's going to tell you, just so he doesn't have to do the extra paper work.

You go back to your recruiter and inform him that the ONLY way that you're joining the Navy is if he puts you in for MAA School under the SWCC contract..... It's alot of paperwork for him, but you get what you want.

If he doesn't want to work with you, e-mail me with his name, number, and your name.... I'll give him a call and get to the bottom of it for you....
