How's it going everybody? Quick question. First a little backgorund. I'm currently 23 and heading to medical school next year. Ill be a doctor by 28. Wanted to know if anyone has ever heard of doctors in SF, or if its possible for a doctor, who is an officer, to go SF after several years. Thanks.

Pawel

There's plenty of doctors in SF. Every SFG has a group surgeon. Go for it! If I remember correctly, there was a doctor on every C Team.

ODA-14 is correct, there is at least 1 if not 2 18D medical sergeants in every ODA (operational detachment alpha, which is a fancey term for platoon) they are considered to be the finest first-response/truama medic techs in the world. they are mainly trained on truama medicines, tho they still have great knowledge on dentistry, veterinary care, public sanitation, water quality and optomitry. I am not exactly sure what kinds of training the have to go through but it sounds mind bogleing lol!
