If/When you are ready to try out, you will know the answers to your questions. Until then don't go around asking them on the internet.

Delta Airlines hires pilots and mechanics. Take your pick. you probably don't have the required build to be a stewardess unless you want to be a "Gay Bob" the Simpering Flight Attendant. LOL

If you go to Fox.com/24, you can read Jack Bauer's bio cause he used to be one of those guys.

We don't discuss Tier One units on here. You may learn about Delta Force here: http://www.specialoperations.com/Army/Delta_Force/default.html

As Cadre. said...Their are a number of good books or websites that deal with units like Delta and S6. Go to Amazon.com, or to a website like SpecialOperations.com. Those are good places for info on Tier 1 units.

Best shoot is airborne ranger then sf or if you make it to a squad leader SGT the team will be looking for you to make a go at selection.

i dont know why these people make such a big deal about asking questions like this, its not like the answers are classified or sensitive. im sure the terrorists are scanning these forums right now to find the answers to questions you could easily get from goarmy.com. to avoid some of these people jumping you about a question like this, before asking go to some websites to find answers to the questions that are hardley sensitive.

Actually goarmy.com will have no info about Delta. They will have Ranger info and perhaps S.F. info, but Delta is left for in service recruitment. Let it lie instead of push it.

I juct checked to be sure, it is not spoken of there, so leave it off of here as per the mods of the site.

ok then goarmy.com doesnt have any answers the point being there are gov websites that do so you people should be a little less lazy and do some research before asking potentially sensitive questions.

It's because these simple questions lead to more complex, technical, and even sensitive questions. The mods have spoken.....let Tier 1 issues fade...

Look....join the army....be a good soldier(alot of things encompass a good soldier) and give selection a shot...

If an 18 year veteran of the 82nd airborne gets in....A MECHANIC...you don't have to be a ranger or SF...just a dumb misconception....it helps alot, but in the end it's about YOU.

It's called OPSEC. You're a civilian. Don't worry about things you shouldn't know anyways.

Also, SOCOM/DELTA FORCE BLACK HAWK DOWN BLAH BLAH BLAH video games are sweet,

but if you're on a forum looking to try and do something with your life look again. The average human being is a meek individual. I wouldn't take most of you for anything more then meek. Boring. Basic is a challenge enough for some kids. Airborne, Selection, Q, DLI, SERE so forth and so on, hah. Have fun with your PS3.

Lets start with joining the Army first hmm?

I think that makes for a 'nuff said.
