Hey dillon, the one thing you must know is Ranger school is just that a SCHOOL. Dont get me wrong its a great leadership course. But to be a true Ranger you must go through RIP. The tab is just a school but the scroll is a way of life. Well first things first you must get a Ranger contract when you enlist then you would go through the whole deal (basic, airborne and RIP). good luck to you with your career choice! make sure you know that that what you want and put forth 110%!

the appropriate response is "IT F***** BLOWS!!!"

Trung_N,
did you have shadowy figures go "Come 'ere RIP!" during night land nav? And if so, did you run the other way?

Don't do what your not supposed to do on night land nav and you shouldn't hear it....

Cole Range is enough fun without playing with the cadre when you should be away from em ( you'll play with them enough as is ). You'll see what I mean if you find the area that I did where I had to keep my hand on my Ranger buddy's shoulder just to know where he was ( yes it can get that dark in GA-especially when the trees help out ), and of course there's that big "grassy field" ( great place to break an ankle... )

Shiit, injury is my biggest fear. Is that "grassy field" filled with groundhog holes or something??

You'll find out when you get there, just don't blindly charge across it at night ( or you'll start off with a lot of bruises to your shins )
