Hello i'm a fifteen year old who wants to become a SEAL. I'm confident i can p *** the test but the eyesight thing concerns me. I'm pretty sure my eyes (I wear contacts) are not up to the strict standards. I plan on getting laser eye surgery when i'm older, so i was wondering what the SEALS few on that was. Do they allow you to have it? Just wondering hope you can answer the question. Thanks.

I also have bad eyes but I was told PRK is acceptable and you don't need a waiver but if you get Lasik you'll need a waiver. I plan on going to Canada (much cheaper than in the US) to get the operation done either this summer or this winter.

What are the options if a person has eyesight worse than the requirements but are still correctable to 20/20 without color loss. And what are the options involving eye surgery. WHat is this info about a waver?
