Hey!! Sorry about the drive by lol. I meant to tell you via facebook that the trip was AWESOME!!!!! We caught lots of fish and had a blast. I put some pics up on fb. Only thing is though, I managed to injure myself the first day in Minnesota. I was on the innertube behind the boat and my foot got caught in the strap when I fell off going about 20 mph. Its been 3 weeks or so and has healed 70% or so, but it is not getting past that point at all it seems like. So I think I'm going to have to go to the doctor and get it checked out. Unfortunately this is delaying my enlistment even more.
Glad to hear things are going well! Yeah sometimes the long distance relationships are tough, but they CAN work! :)
Yeah, I've decided to enlist in the Marines. I have always wanted to go to BUDS, but with the new eyesight requirements I don't qualify anymore without surgery. I can't afford the surgery right now, and the waiting list is up to 3 years in the Navy, and I really don't want to sit in the fleet for that long. Also, because of work and school I haven't had time to train like I need to for BUDS. So I've decided to join the Marines and go for MARSOC which is their SOF. If the Marine Corp doesn't work out for me then I can always get them to do my surgery and re-enlist in the Navy. I've also heard rumors about Marines going to BUDS so I'm going to look into that....

Hey!!! Good to hear from you! Everything is going quite well here. The semester just ended and I will soon have my Associates Degree in business admin, and I'm planning on enlisting in the Marines at the end of the summer. So life is moving along :). How have you been?
Have fun in SD! Dad was out there last week. Said it was it was 80 degrees. Yeah school is a pain in the butt, but I should have my associates after this semester. I'm working more than full time too so unfortunately training has taken a back seat. Hopefully that will change soon...

Like I said on facebook, Cape town is having some great weather right now and will have until March. Exchange rate might also be in your favor But it's probably a very long way to travel just to dive and I bet there are far nicer places closer to home, especially if you needed to get back home in a hurry.

Glad to hear everythings going well for you! The (new) girlfriend is doing great. (The old one decided to look around a bit). School sucks, but I'm getting through. Next semester should be better. The new job is going really well. The pay is a lot better, and I work with my best friend! I'm still riding the motorcycle and am in the process of getting a truck. I'm jealous of your vacation. It sounds so nice!!! Have fun!

Well, I ran out of money on the car. I dropped over two grand into it, and its worse than it was before. So now its the motorcycle and dad's truck. Hopefully I'll be able to buy a new truck in a few months. Good luck with that new company! What kind of business is it? And I hope your foot feels better soon too! I don't know about scuba with a fractured foot. BTW, I'm hoping to get my dive certification soon. I just have to find time, which seems impossible sometimes.
