Well yesterday she got to watch me bath skunked dogs, then scrub the floors. Today she got to watch me do 5 loads of laundry....and then we went and looked at halloween costumes so we could figure out who she is going to be. Tomorrow she goes to meet her teacher and then she has her first dental appt.
I am soooooooo confused...what pics are you talkin' 'bout...me or my FAV DB?
Sorry, it was a very rough morning and it is gonna be another rough couple of days. I think I may be the first ever adult runaway before all is said and done.
I won't be able to do the VB one, we are going to NC sometime in the fall to see his familiy. I was thinking of doing the half in Detroit it is Oct 18th would you be interested in doing that one??
Ok M...my mind tends to wander in a very disticnt and certain direction when thinking about softball girlz...as such, the "sapnking" "blowing" and "powerwashing" you mentioned...didnt help me out any. But all is good in the hood Miss M .
Im glad to hear of the comeback in the tourny! I remember some good ones during football...
Whew...glad I won't have to tryout to be on Team Cheeky One!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with Dreyfi's ashes yet. Went to Michael's yesterday to look for the "perfect" container and didn't have any luck. I might have to do a search online. I do have a shadow box already that is rather large and will hold at least 3 bigger pics. I could put his collar and tags in there as well since there is plenty of room.
Poor SDZ...I remember summer vacations like that. Hell, I remember family gatherings that were just like that. All it took was one annoying cousin to get the ball rolling. Come to think of it...one was a pest growing up and is still pretty much a pest as an adult...go figure!
Hey Cheeky One...good luck on the test tonight...thanks for the swoop and think'n 'bout me...appreciate it! I am off shortly to bring my gal pals some homemade canolli's...and the Vet called to let me know that D's cremains are ready to be picked-up...not gonna be the highlight of my week but I'll deal.
LOL ain't that the truth about them there spidy senses. Good luck with the leak...think of it this way better to be a leak in the kitchen then a leak in a boat right.
So how is or was the softball season? The girls had a swim meet down in Carmel the past weekend. She dropped in her times. I couldn't make it because of work. I will catch the next one.
Ortho update...Both bones in my elbow are broken, but healing has already begun...so no cast...YAY!!! I have to take a RX med once daily, ice it twice a day, wear the ace bandage, use a sling if I so choose and rest the arm. The pain is coming from the tendons and ligaments; which are inflammed. I go back in 2 weeks and if it isn't significantly better, the Doc will give me a cortizone injection...YIKES!!!
Ima tough cookie...what else can I say. Honestly, this wrap they put on is driving me nutz and this morning my hand and arm are most definitely swollen...time for the 'ole bag 'o ice.
I like how you think Cheeky! It should be fully healed by the time I'm back in SD...tossing back some frozen or on the rocks Margis...at least it better be. I think I'd get arrested for public drunkenness if I had the camelpak on...then I'd be the one who was trippin'!
You need to click on the "quote" icon when replying and not the "multi-quote" one. That's the only reason I can figure out why it looks that way.
Yeah, you did do a drive-by on me! The nerve!!! LMAO...leaving comments on your own page...that is some funny shee-yit!
Huge congrats to SDZ...that gurl ROCKS THE HOUSE! I'm sure you'll beat the other team again this year and tell her I said good luck with the travel team!
I stayed inside with the A/C on...started the washing...then ran to C's for a bite to eat where I promptly dropped an entire glass of iced tea all over me, the table, the seat and the floor. Damn elbow is killing me since it got slammed in the gate 10 days ago...I have no grip strength in it and I am off to the ER after I finish this for an x-ray. My buddy George said he can feel and see the bone above my elbow poking out and it is swollen. I just don't see it, so I'm going to have it checked since it is worse now than it was yesterday.
The heat doesn't bother me at all, it's the humidity I can't take when it gets this bad out here. I drink too much water a day and when it's this humid I walk outside and everything sticks to be b/c the sweat starts a pouring...worse than a damn hot flash or the night sweats. Oh the joys of getting older!!!
Okie dokie...I'm off the the ER here. I'll let ya know what they say when I'm back home.
I picked up the caterpillar cupcake mold and decorating kit for "The Boys"...I don't want them feeling left out once their baby sister arrives on the 29th. I'm debating on whether to let them help me or not.
Considering that I spoiled the first girl, I think I should spoil the second one as well. I spent a fortune before SD at Carter's here...they will have to change her several times a day in order for her to wear it all! One more week and she will be here...then I'll know the name they decided on.
Let me know what the dates are in July. I went into Chi Town today and it was a freakin' mess. They are setting up for the Taste of Chi Town that starts this Friday and runs through the 5th of July...I think...anyhoo...it was very congested. So I ducked into my 2 fav stores down there....My Intimacy and William Sonoma...it was a sweet trip!!!
We've been rock'n and roll'n with storms since about 1 AM...all's quiet now but some severe ones just blew threw! Heavy duty lightening and thunder boomers in the last pass.
Abso-freakin'-lutely you can call me! You owe me nothing though. Would love to spend a weekend hanging out in Chi Town with you and SDZ. The 29th is out though, the new baby girl arrives that day! She is already SPOILED...and yes, I'm responsible for the spoil'n!
Hiya Chele...back in Chi Town once again...safe and sound! It is a postcard perfect day here. The only downside is that I have to do all the trim work around the yard and then mow the lawn...I need to sleep. These younger kids can PARTY like ANIMALS!!!
The move in date is in 56 days on 7th August. The house is a 1960's bungalow that has had a lot done on it. It also has a 1 bedroom apartment out the back for all our visitors. We had to pack up all our stuff into a shipping container and it went across Cook Strait on a cargo ship. Life in the capitol city is great, I really like how big it is and the shopping. Its also a picturesque city with all the hills/mountains. We are moving out to North Wellington in a place called Tawa which is a five minute drive to the west cost beaches of Porirua.
I haven't made any real progress on the book as over the last two months I've been working full time and being the person in charge of making sure we shifted okay. I tell you it was one of the most stressful things to go through especially telling the family we were moving. But now i'm here with nothing to do writing is my full time job yay.
Just dropped by to say hi. Been busy shifting cities. Most of our stuff is in storage and we're living out of suitcases for the next two months. Kiwigirl.
