Vision

12/31/2008 19:15:10 / none, or other

My vision is a little worse than 20/200 and you can't* have any worse vision than that to be a SEAL. By saying can't I mean your not supposed to, but in some of the sections it said non-waiverable, but in the vision area it didn't have the non-waiverable part so I think that it means that maybe for some reasons like lasic eye surgeory that you might be allowed to have worse vision. I would like to know if I am right about you being allowed to have worse vision in some cases, or if you just plain can't have worse vision than 20/200. Don't leave information unless you truly know.

bruinsrock24...Go to the forum side of the site and read through the threads in the SEAL/SWCC Forum.  There is a thread there that deals specifically with the vision requirements.  If your question is not answered, read the ROE on the site, make your introduction post, read the guidelines for the SEAL/SWCC Forum and post your question in the vision thread.  One of the Instructors will reply with a post there.
