It was a beautiful day here...sunshine and 55! We are expecting rain on Sunday and then they're calling for snow showers Monday through Wednesday; which means flurries! At least they turned on Buckingham Fountain tonight...beautiful site to see!

Hey-I have read that book. It was an emotional roller coaster. I'd sit and cry and othertimes I wanted to jump into the book and help! I've never read a book that provoked that much emotion. Pride, anger, sadness, and relief. Relief-every time Marcus fell off another cliff I was releived that his gun landed near him. I've read it at least 3 times in the last couple years.
Yes I'm in the Chi Town area. It was a rainy day here but the sun came out late this afternoon and the rainbows were a brightener to the otherwise gloomy day. The temps will be warming up soon and that's another good thing.
As it is RIGHT NOW, we dont qualify for a SEAL contract. We have to get PRK to qualify. Which means you have to get the eye surgery before you enlist. You have a while yet, and this could change. I am planning on having mine done next year. Bad vision is not an option, so we really dont have a choice. It shouldnt be too bad of a hassle, I know tons of guys who did it. Just keep updated on the regulations.
